Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) Launches First-Ever Digital Pageant Series ‘Ring Light’
MUP – Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) launched its first-ever online pageant series called ‘Ring Light.’
The 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to affect millions of across the globe. It has led to postponement or cancellations of many entertainment events.
The newly-organized Miss Universe Philippines also struggles due to the health crisis. The first edition of the pageant is now scheduled on October 25. The pandemic forced organizers to rethink and adjust their plans. In a previous article, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has a suggestion on how to hold pageants during the health crisis.
Miss Universe Philippines announced the launching of “Ring Light’ on its Instagram page. It is the pageant’s first-ever digital pageant series which will be premiered on September 27, 2020.
The online pageant series will take the viewers behind the scenes of Miss Universe Philippines. At the same time, the prestigious pageant hopes to give a positive impact on the lives of others.
“Premiering on September 27, 2020 featuring new episodes every Sunday, The Ring Light Series takes you on the Miss Universe Philippines journey to the crown, from lessons and trainings, to challenges and preliminaries, and finally, the coronation for Miss Universe Philippines 2020.”
‘Ring Light’ is composed of eight episodes, the online series follows 50 aspiring MUP candidates through their journey to the crown. All episodes will be available for streaming on www.empire.ph for only P299. You can also avail of their early bird promo for only P249.
