JUST IN: Congress Staff Assigned To Bills And Index Service Died Of COVID-19
CONGRESS STAFF – The Congress staff who was tested positive of coronavirus disease 2019 was recently confirmed dead.
It has been remembered that the staff was assigned to the Bills and Index Service. The staff was said to be the 18th employee to have been confirmed positive of the virus.

The said employee has been working home since June 18 but reportedly went to their office on June 29 in order to submit some documents.
According to a tweet from Inquirer, the said employee recently died from the virus on June 23 morning.
This came from House Secretary General Jose Luis Montales.

Some personnel from the Presidential Security Group were also tested positive of COVID-19. The said personnel were assigned as security detail to Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.

All PSG personnel were asymptomaticwere already placed under quarantine.
As for Executive Sec. Salvador Medialdea, he was confirmed negative, as reported by Col. Jesus Durante III.
