Amber Heard Questioned About Allegations Against Johnny Depp
AMBER HEARD – Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, is set to be questioned regarding her claims of domestic abuse as part of a libel case against a British Tabloid.
Since last year, Heard and Depp had been spouting claims against each other. It started when Heard publicly announced that she was being abused by Depp. However, Depp rebutted and said she was the violent one.
Meanwhile, British media outlet, News Group Newspapers, publisher of the Sun newspaper, publicized an article labeling Depp as a “wife beater”. Moreover, his casting in the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” franchise was also questioned.
According to the paper published by the news outlet, the claims of Heard against Depp were true. Afterward, Depp immediately denied the claims and said that his ex-wife was lying and that she was the one regularly assaulting him.
Now, a trial is being conducted to identify which of the two parties is telling the truth. Based on an article from Reuters, Heard claimed that Depp had:
- kicked
- slapped
- punched
- pulled out clumps of her hair
- throwing a phone and
- headbutting her.
Amber presented pictures of herself with two black eyes and another facial injuries to the court. But, Depp Says the accusations were mere hoaxes.
Accounts from Depp’s friends, security staff, and assistants also claimed that Heard was abusive and violent toward Depp. Furthermore, the emphasized that they never so Heard with he visible injuries she said were caused by Depp.
