70 lawmakers seemingly haven’t heard the loud cry of compassion of many people over the the more than 11,000 employees who lost their jobs. These 70 lawmakers have voted to junk the application of the network and the nation has marked this historical day, July 10, where the government has shut down a network despite committing no violation and not hearing the cries of the people.

In a previous article, through a statement, the network announced that they are bound to let go of their employees starting August 31, 2020. This is because they were denied to have a renewal of their franchise to continue broadcasting. They will be giving them separation pay and the retirement benefits they are entitled to have. The company expressed difficulty of doing this amid the pandemic but their finances won’t be enough.
