Sadly, the woman got what she wanted and passed away shortly after contracting the deadly disease. According to an article from Ladbible, the theorist died at a hospital in Texas where she was being treated for the disease.
During her stay at the hospital, the doctor assigned to the theorist, Dr. Jane Appleby said that the theorist condition quickly deteriorated. Following this, she said that the patient became critically ill.
According to Appleby, her patient had a change of heart moments before her death. As per the article, Appleby stated:
Just before the patient died, they looked at their nurse and said ‘I think I made a mistake, I thought this was a hoax, but it’s not.
I don’t want to be an alarmist and we’re just trying to share some real-world examples to help our community realize that this virus is very serious and can spread easily
This disheartening incident has become a common theme in the United States were thousands of residents believe the virus is merely a hoax. As such, social distancing protocols and basic health protocols such as wearing masks are dismissed.
