Bato Tells ABS-CBN Employees “Hanap Ng Ibang Jobs” In Interview
BATO ON ABS-CBN RENEWAL – Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa advised thousands of ABS-CBN employees “Hanap ng ibang Jobs“.
Currently, one of the most controversial issues in the Philippines is the ABS-CBN franchise renewal. If the franchise would not be allowed to renew, thousands of employees would lose their jobs amid the coronavirus pandemic.

As such, during an online interview on Thursday, Senator Dela Rosa gave these employees his own personal advice:
Hanap ng ibang trabaho para mabuhay, magsumikap, may ibang paraan pa naman siguro para mabuhay tayo. Hanap ng ibang jobs.
Alangan namang sabihin ko sa kanila na maghimagsik kayo, magwala kayo, hindi naman pwede yun. Hanap na lang kayo ng ibang trabaho para mabuhay ang pamilya ninyo
Meanwhile, according to an article from Inquirer, when Bato was asked if the non-renewal of the network would have adverse effects in the future, the Senator said he sees none.
He emphasized that the closure of ABS-CBN wouldn’t affect him any way because he “wasn’t part of ABS-CBN”. Afterward, he said that the people affected would be the people working in the network.
Moreover, he explained that even if ABS-CBN would be closed, there would still be other news outlets. Additionally, he stated that in terms of the community as a whole, there doesn’t see much change in the future.
