Despite 2nd Place Rank In SEA Virus Count, Roque Insists PH Is Winning
CORONAVIRUS IN PH – Despite the ever-increasing number of COVID-19 cases, Presidential Spokesperson Roque Insists that the Philippines is winning against the virus.
Apparently, Roque believes that even when ranked 2nd in South East Asia for the most number of COVID-19 cases, the country is still defeating the virus. Ever since the first case of the virus was detected, the number of infections has increased.
DOH had already changed their reporting system and recently announced that they would change it again. Even with the changes, the number of new cases still grew way past their “last cases”.
Meanwhile, according to an article from Inquirer, Roques stated: “I will always say, ‘We are winning against COVID-19”.
Furthermore, he called out those who don’t believe that the Philippines is winning against the virus to believe what they want to.

Afterward, he explained that as long as patients have yet to die and the medical sector could still provide aid to these patients, he could not accept that the country is not winning against COVID-19.
As per the article, Roque added:
