Mak Tumang Unveils Face Masks Inspired by Catriona Gray’s Lava Gown

Who could ever forget Catriona Gray’s showstopping lava gown during the Miss Universe 2018 pageant in Bangkok Thailand? Lots of Filipinos still couldn’t get over the fiery red gown inspired by the Mayon Volcano.
The designer behind the iconic dress is Mak Tumang. Last May, the Kapampangan designer announced that he replicated Cat’s lava gown for Madame Tussauds wax figure.
Mak Tumang said carbon copy of Catriona Gray’s iconic gown will be sent off to London. The beauty queen said her wax figure will be unveiled in the Philippines and will be touring Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong.

On Friday, July 3, Mak Tumang took to his Instagram account to announced that he is now producing face masks inspired by Catriona Gray’s lava gown. He also posted the designs of the breathable, washable, and repellent masks on his social media account.
According to his post, he said four pieces of masks in foldcote bag cost P1,500. The Lava box set is priced at P2,000. His Lava Luxe package consists of only one beaded face mask in his signature box, costs P25,000.
