Bianca Manalo Posts Side on ABS-CBN – Government Issue

BIANCA MANALO – The actress-beauty queen aired her disappointment with the government over the ABS-CBN franchise issue.

Currently, the broadcast operation of the ABS-CBN network is still on off-air. It was after the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) posted a Cease and Desist Order (NTC) against the network in the first quarter of 2020.

The said order is in line with the expired franchise of the network. Until now, the network has yet to return to its full operation as the franchise has yet to be renewed due to certain issues including its ownership and its taxes.

Recently, some of the Kapamilya programs resumed airing on Sky Cable and Kapamilya TV Plus. However, the NTC released another order against it.

Several celebrities have expressed their side on the issues surrounding the ABS-CBN network now. Recently, actress-beauty queen Bianca Manalo who is also a Kapamilya aired her sentiment.

Bianca Manalo is visibly disappointed with the government over the ABS-CBN issue. On her Instagram post, she questions the government on what it really wants. She cited that people are losing their jobs.

Undeniably, the people has mixed reactions over the issue. Some are standing with the Kapamilya network and concerned about its employees while others believe that the government is just doing what it has to do.
