Here’s Kim Chiu reaction as ABS-CBN shut down as ordered by the NTC.
ABS-CBN SHUT DOWN – Kapamilya network’s home-grown artist Kim Chiu has this reaction as it has officially signed off following NTC’s order.
One of Kapamilya network’s prized actors Coco Martin expressed fury just recently to the government and to the people who are celebrating the shut down of his network. He even questioned the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) continued operation amid this health crisis.
The shut down of ABS-CBN was ordered by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) because their franchise has already expired. This is contrary to what they have vowed which is to grant the network a provisional authority to operate.
And now, emotional, one of their home-grown talents, Kim Chiu, has reacted to the shut down of the network which allowed her to dream big and giver her family a better life. On the verge to crying, the actress expressed, “Iyong saya ng bawat Pilipino, kahit maliit lang, pinagkaitan niyo sila ng saya sa panahon na ito.”
She recalled that after joining the reality show Pinoy Big Brother, the network groomed her and she is now the person that she is today because of this network. Pleading, she asked NTC to halt the implementation of cease and desist order (CDO) and let them air for the people.
Although there are other networks that people can choose from but it is undeniable that ABS-CBN has the widest platform and reach in terms of delivering real time news and reports and entertainment as many people are currently facing lock down.
