Police Shot His Co-Police to Death After Being Suspected to Be an Enemy

The police was very sorry after he shot his co-police that later died when he allegedly suspected it to be an enemy.

Based on the report of GMA News, a policeman has killed a fellow policeman in Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay, after he allegedly suspected it to be their enemy. According to patrolman Laurence Ancheta, he regretted what he did.

He said that Police Corporal Jorge Baltazar unexpectedly came inside the police station without wearing a uniform. As a result, Ancheta suspected him as an enemy.

He also added that he asked Baltazar several times who he was, but he did not answer. Baltazar then pulled a gun which leads him to pull also a gun and fire Baltazar.

In an interview with GMA, it appears that Ancheta is crying with remorse. He said that in many of their operations he had never fired once. This was the first time he had fired a gun.

“Never akong nakakaputok, it’s the first time,” he said. Because of his great remorse, Achete surrendered to the authorities and now facing a lawsuit over the shooting incident.
