Catriona Gray is set to do this initiative for students
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, following her “No Work, No Rice” campaign is set to do a new project that is for less-privileged students.
The Filipino-Australian beauty queen has been partnering with Young Focus in doing her charitable endeavors. During the lockdown, she and the organization have raised funds in order to provide rice to poor families in Tondo.
In her recent Instagram post, Catriona shared that they were able to raise P5million pesos which is equivalent to one hundred thousand kilograms of rice. She thanked all the people who extended help in this relief effort that really helped a lot of families amid the pandemic.
In the caption of her post, the 4th Pinay who was crowned Miss Universe shared that they are already starting a new project after the rice distribution. This will focus mainly to the needs of Filipino youths.
“Stay tuned, we’re working on our next initiatives geared towards overcoming the challenges associated with giving access to quality education to Filipino youth who dont currently have access to gadgets or internet that’s required for online learning,” Catriona Gray said.

She also said that once again, they will need the help of those who are willing to share. “Thank you for allowing all of this to be possible! Love you guys!!!” the beauty queen added.
