PAGASA – Easterlies To Affect Eastern Visayas, Mindanao This June 23, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 23, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the easterlies or warm winds from the east will affect the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

According to GMA News, the easterlies, as well as localized thunderstorms, will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and he rest of the country.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the forecast wind speed, Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to southwest direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will have light winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight coastal waters.

The sun has risen at 5:29 AM and is expected to set at 6:28 PM.
