Another Illegal Chinese Coronavirus Clinic Stormed By Police
CHINA NUMBER 1? – Another illegal Chinese clinic catering to coronavirus patients was raided by police in Paranaque City on Saturday.
While the Philippine health system struggles to keep up with the coronavirus epidemic, there has been an influx of illegal Chinese coronavirus clinics. Even with all the raids conducted by the police, there seems to be a never-ending supply of these clinics.

According to an article from Philstar, local police from Parañaque raided the clinic that was located on the third floor of the Morgana Building at 1 PM. The facility was located along Multinational Avenue.
The authorities seized medical supplies like sterile dextrose, stethoscopes, and personal protective equipment. Moreover, they also confiscated 64 boxes of medicine which they claimed could cure symptoms of COVID-19, cough, flu, and even sexually transmitted diseases labeled in Chinese.
As per the article, the alleged caretaker of the clinic was known as Cai Yongchun, a 51-year-old Chinese national. Yongchun failed to present a business permit and was arrested.
The raid was planned out by the police after receiving complaints from homeowners in the village. Last month, authorities also raided two Illegal COVID-19 Chinese clinics in Barangay Tambo and Poblacion.
Currently, Parañaque has reported 895 coronavirus cases with 658 recoveries along with 55 fatalities due to the virus. Meanwhile, the overall number of coronavirus cases in the Philippines has reached over 30,052. Of that number, 1169 people have died due to the virus with close to 8,000 people recovering.
