Frankie Pangilinan Gives Two Cents On Kat Alano’s #RhymesWithWrong

Here’s the opinion of Frankie Pangilinan on Kat Alano’s #RhymeWithWrong

Recording artists Frankie Pangilinan gave her two cents on former host Kat Alano’s #RhymeWithWrong that trended on social media.

The said hashtag became a trending topic after Kat supported the #HijaAko of Frankie as the latter voiced out her thoughts about harassment against women. To recall, the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Francis Pangilinan fired back to radio host Ben Tulfo’s tweet about women’s outfit as the reason for being harassed.

With that, Kat took the courage to reveal that her outfit at that time when she was abused was not revealing and she hinted about the person who did that to her – “rhymes with wrong“. Because of this, the name It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro also became a trending topic on Twitter and the past four harassment cases that were filed against him were recalled.

Amid this trending topic on social media, several netizens have called out to Frankie Pangilinan to share her thoughts. On June 19, she finally broke her silence and gave her two cents on the issue.

The celebrity said that she stands with all the victims of abuse or harassment. “#HijaAko is all about this strength. every victim deserves justice,” she said. Frankie added that all culprits “deserve hell” and she also used the #rhymeswithwrong.

On the other hand, she admitted that she does not have the liberty to speak what is true regarding this issue but stressed the point of her advocacy is to condemn abusers. “Accusers all deserve to be heard and to have their voices amplified until justice is properly served,” she added.

Frankie also pointed out that is “accusations proven false should NEVER invalidate other accusations.” For her, “all stories that come after are equally valid and deserve to be afforded a certain amount of respect.”

However, the recording artist also stressed that “we cannot outright condemn a person without proof, we can and should condemn the act.”
