Piglet With Three Eyes, Two Snouts In Ilocos Norte
PIGLET WITH THREE EYES – A genetic anomaly transpired within the confines of Lawag, Ilocos Norte as a piglet was born with an extra eye and snout.
According to a local veterinarian, the piglet was supposed to be twins but was not separated during birth. This caused the animal to have an extra snout and three eyes. Sadly, these creatures were said to have a short lifespan due to their physical complications, the animal.
Last month, anther piglet with an unusual anomaly was documented by GMA in Iloilo. The piglet had two heads and three eyes and was named “Copig” because it was born during the coronavirus pandemic.

Polycephaly is the term used to describe creatures that have more than one head. These creatures are often found in mythology and legend, however, they can also be seen in the real world.
The animals are born from the same process as conjoined twins from monozygotic twin embryos. In the United States, creatures such as Copig and other two-headed animals are being preserved in museums.
