Angel Locsin Reveals Why She Chose To Prioritize Helping Others Than Focusing On Herself
ANGEL LOCSIN – Actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin disclosed why she chose to prioritize helping others than focusing on herself.
Filipina actress Angel Locsin is also known for her philanthropic work. All of her humanitarian missions were successful no matter the threat in hand: an earthquake, typhoon, and now the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 35-year-old Kapamilya star has a new docu-reality show called “Iba Yan!” at the Kapamilya Channel. The new program features inspiring stories of the Filipinos.
During the virtual press con of “Iba Yan,” Angel Locsin sheds tears while discussing ABS-CBN’s franchise issue. She even excused herself for a while from the press conference afterward.

Philstar reporter asked Angel Locsin to explain the satisfaction she gets from helping other people. The actress said she’s hoping that her initiatives would inspire others. Her charity works have a significant impact on her mental health.
“’Pag nag-focus ka kasi sa mga bagay na hindi tungkol sa’yo, malaking epekto niyan sa mental health mo eh. Sa sarili mo. Tapos mapapansin mo na lang masaya ka na pala. Kasi hindi ka nag-dwell sa mga problems. Hindi ka naging… alam mo ‘yun, conceited. Hindi lang sarili ‘yung iniisip mo,” she said.
Angel Locsin also stressed that a simple appreciation she gets or even a smile can maker her happy. She said glad she was able to provide help to make someone’s life a little bit better.
“Kung merong kang taong tingin mong nabago ‘yung buhay o napangiti mo man lang kahit papaano, kahit papaano, gagaan din’yung loob mo eh. Hindi mababayaran ‘yun ng kahit anong TF,” Angel said.
