PAGASA – Intertropical Convergence Zone To Affect Visayas And Mindanao This June 18, 2020
PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 18, 2020.
The latest weather update from the state bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ will be affecting Visayas and Mindanao on this day.
According to GMA News, the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas and Carage region.
The bureau warned of flash floodsd or landslides that might occur due to scattered moderate to occasionally heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorm.
As always, The bureau warned of flash floodsd or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms
Based on the report, for the forecast wind speed, Luzon will have light winds that are moving in the southeast to southward direction with slight coastal waters.
The rest of the country will also have light winds but are moving in the southeast to various directions with slight coastal waters.
The sun has risen at around 5:28 AM an is expected to set at 6:27 PM.
