Here’s How Megan Young Accidentally Made Bad First Impression On Mikael Daez’s Lola
MEGAN YOUNG – GMA-7 actor and model Mikael Daez shared Megan Young accidentally made a bad first impression on his Lola.
Miss Word 2013 Megan Young and GMA-7 actor Mikael Daez tied the knot in an intimate wedding in Subic last January. The netizens and their celebrity friends love all the details of their wedding.
Last March, the married couple shared their quarantine experience on their vlog. They spend the quarantine period with Mikael’s brothers Sandro, Mauro, and Nicky. In the description, the Kapuso star said the proceeds of the video will be donated to the families affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
On Sunday, June 14, Megan Young and Mikael Daez released the latest episode of their podcast titled “FAMILY VS ASAWA.” In the video, celebrity couple discussed how they became close to each other’s families.
In the podcast, Mikael shared how his wife accidentally made a bad impression on his conservative grandmother. “This was the first handful of reunions you went to, maybe even the first one in my Dad’s side. At this point, we were already together, we had seen each other for a few months already, very comfortable with one another,” he said.

Mikael Daez said Megan Young was wearing shorts at that time. During the reunion, the beauty queen sat on his lap for 5-10 seconds.
He said “she comes in, okay lang. What she had to do that Megan isn’t used to is greet everyone and beso. Megan kasi usually handshakes. Binigyan ko na siya ng heads-up siyempre. ‘Yun ‘yung nakasanayan ng pamilya ko. She did that, she did a great job, I introduced everyone, naaliw lahat, we went along with lunch. As the day went on, she stuck to me and we were having fun and then she eventually sat on my lap.”
“She sat on my lap for a good five, ten seconds. Wala lang, as in playfully lang, not in a sexy way obviously. We were just probably joking. And that five-to-ten seconds was all she needed to make an impression on my Lola,” he added.
After the reunion, Mikael Daez said someone told him “Hey, I don’t think it’s appropriate that Megan sits on your lap during the reunion.”
