Andre Yllana talked about his acting career
Actor Andre Yllana expressed that he aspires to have a project with his parents, actress Aiko Melendez, and actor Jomari Yllana.
The actor shared his aspiration during a recent contract signing with Viva Artists Agency (VAA). He renewed his contract years after her formarly entered the entertainment industry.
Andre has been exposed to showbiz since he was young, as both of his parents are active in doing projects in front of the camera, after many years of being in the industry.
During his contract signing, Andre Yllana shared that sharing the same frame with his parents is on his bucket list.
“Actually, gustung-gusto ko po na makatrabaho sana si Mommy o kaya si Daddy kasi never ko pa po nagawa yon. Napag-usapan po namin ni Mommy yan, tapos feeling nga po niya, maganda raw po,” the actor shared.
However, Andre said that it seemed that he would not be able to do this, because most probably he would feel awkward doing a scene with his mother.
He also felt that the motherly instinct of Aiko would surface, and she would tell him what he should do. Andre also shared that she wanted to be known as a versatile actor. He wanted to explore different roles and genres.
Meanwhile, Andre Yllana was recently asked about the current love life status of his mom, Aiko Melendez, who recently confirmed her relationship with former actor Onemig Bondoc.
The young actor said that Aiko and Onemig are so happy right now. To recall, Aiko and Onemig caught the attention of the online community when photos of them together circulated online. It was revealed that 29 years ago, Onemig tried to pursue Aiko, but this did not prosper. After almost three decades, they were given a second chance.
