Ang Probinsyano Actors Coco Martin, Sen. Lito Lapid Reunite
ANG PROBINSYANO – Kapamilya actor Coco Martin visited Senator Lito Lapid at the Senate.
Undeniably, one of the television series that really marked the Philippine showbiz industry is ABS-CBN’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Mainly starred by actor Coco Martin, this TV series is airing for more than three (3) years now.
FPJAP only stopped airing because of the COVID-19 crisis in the Philippines. Everyone is advised to stay at home to fight the spread of the disease that has already claimed over 400,000 lives worldwide.
In the Philippines, there is now a total of 22,992 cases of the disease recorded in the country. More than 1,000 patients died while over 4,700 have recovered.
Several TV series’ airing are still on hold now amid the pandemic. Back to Ang Probinsyano, it has hooked a lot of households and it has gathered several stars into one (1) project.
Recently, the netizens saw a reunion of Ang Probinsyano stars Coco Martin and Senator Lito Lapid through a photo posted on social media. The actor visited Sen. Lapid at the Senate.
Coco plays the lead role, Cardo Dalisay, in FPJAP. The Senator played the character of Romulo “Pinuno” Dumagat in the said hit TV series.
Based on the post of the Senate in the Philippines, it was the first time of Martin to visit Sen. Lapid since he won in the 2019 elections for senators. The purpose of the actor was not revealed.
It was earlier reported that the FPJAP is set to resume its taping soon with the observance of the health standards. However, considering her age, veteran actress Susan Roces who plays as Lola Flora won’t attend the taping unless the situation gets better.
