KC Concepcion, Apl.de.ap Show Support For Each Other Amid US Anti-Racism Protest

KC CONCEPCION – Rumored couple KC Concepcion and Apl.de.ap showed support for each other amid massive protests in the United States.

In 2013, ‘Black Eyed Peas’ singer Apl.de.ap admitted that he courted singer-actress KC Concepcion. He later stopped because Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s daughter had a boyfriend at that time.

Last year, KC and Apl reportedly started officially dating. They were even spotted at a restaurant. Their viral photo elicited mixed reactions from the netizens. Apl and KC have not yet confirmed reports about their rumored relationship.

KC Concepcion and Apl.de.ap were among the millions of people who reacted to George Floyd’s death. The 46-year-old African-American man died after a white policeman knelt on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds.

The two Filipino celebrities took to their Instagram to share their thoughts regarding the nationwide protest and racism issue in the US. Both of them have lived in the states.

The posts of the rumored couple clearly showed that the issue is very close to their heart. Apl.de.ap established his music career in the US while KC Concepcion has stayed in the US for years and gained a lot of friends.

In the rapper’s Instagram post, he shared a video of George Floyd protesters singing their hit song ‘Where is the Love?’ It came with a caption, “I want to thank everyone for finding this song again in these troubling times. I’m both humbled and saddened that it’s still so relevant.”

The vlogger commented using the lyrics of the famous song. She said, “Yo people living like they ain’t got no mommas. This song is IMMORTAL.

KC Concepcion is among the Filipino celebs who participated in the Black Tuesday movement. She uploaded a black image with a caption “The black community in the United States is so close to my heart. More than that, in my years as a humanitarian I have spent weeks in the rural areas of Uganda, with the beautiful people of Africa who showed me nothing but warmth and kindness. I’m against all forms of discrimination, and racism.”

“If 2020 does not teach us all to be KIND, I don’t know what will… Where is the love?” she added.

Apl.de.Ap left a serious comment on her IG post. He said “We’re all fighting for a few things right now, to be heard and for justice, at the same we also have to fight fake protesters that are taking advantage of this moment to either loot or doing it for the wrong reason, and that’s a lot to get into…it’s happening around the world including ours, there’s no wrong choice on in wanting to end racism, police brutality and inequality…Be nice.”
