Coco Martin ranted against the government

Ang Probinsyano Coco Martin ranted against the government in the past and this was recalled amid his issue with Solicitor General Jose Calida.

Coco slammed that the SolGen and the National Telecommunications Commission after the shutting down of ABS-CBN. In a recent press briefing, Calida answered the viral statement of the actor.

The SolGen said that Coco lacks understanding on the franchise issue. He even said that if he is not the SolGen, he could have made the actor “eat his words”.

Amid this issue, the past rants of the actor against the government were recalled in an actor published on PEP’s site. In 2015, during a press conference for Ang Probinsyano, a year before the presidential election, he said that he already learned his lessons in supporting politicians.

Ayaw ko nang maulit yun,” he said. Then, he shared his realization.

Dapat tayo ang pinaglilingkuran nila,” the Kapamilya star added.

In 2016, he campaigned for presidential candidate Grace Poe and during a campaign event, his statement about not choosing a leading who is “nagmumura” was also recalled.

‘Yon po ba ang gusto ninyong mangyari?” he said, based on the article from Inquirer.

In 2016, President Rodrigo Duterte won and Senator Grace Poe placed third according to the final result of the election. Last year, Coco Martin once again campaigned for her for the Senatorial race.
