Answer To The Riddle “A Man Went Outside In The Pouring Rain”
RIDDLE – Amid the coronavirus quarantine, a lot of riddles have been circulating in social media such as this one: “A man went outside in the pouring rain with no protection, but not a hair on his head got wet. How come?”
Similarly, Maroon 5 also sang about this with their song “She will be loved”. The lyrics went “I Don’t Mind Spending Everyday, Out in the corner in the pouring rain”.
However, that is not important to the riddle. Although, the answer is fairly simple, the man had no hair or he was bald. Being bald meant that even if he dove into the ocean, not a single hair on his head would be wet because he had not to begin with.
But others would argue its because he had an umbrella. But, the riddle states it was because he had “no protection on”. Then again, others would say that “protection” could mean anything.
However, in the context of the riddle, without protection definitely refers to protection from the rain.
