The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the entire Philippines will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the warm winds from the east or known as easterlies.

According to GMA News, the bureau further warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.

The bureau’s weather specialist Ariel Rojas said that the country will face hot and humid weather in the morning and rain showers or thunderstorms in the late afternoon or evening.

Based on the report, the ridge of a high pressure area (HPA) stretches over Northern Luzon.

The Philippines will face slight to moderate coastal waters. The sun has risen at 5:26 AM and is expected to set at 6:22 PM.
