Solenn Heussaff Opens Up About Struggles Being A First Time Mom

First time mom Solenn Heussaff gets honest about her struggles being a mother.

SOLENN HEUSSAFF – Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff expressed something about motherhood and how it affected her as it is her first time.

The year 2020 started great for couple Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff and her husband businessman Nico Bolzico. They welcomed their first child on new year and they named her Thylane Katana. It was just recently when Solenn finally let us have a photo of her baby’s face and she’s so beautiful looking a lot more like her mother.

With her condition of not showing off her baby on her early months, she reasoned out based on a previous article, “People need to remember LIFE does NOT happen on IG. Yes its a great place to share things, but you dont have to share EVERYTHING. Its not because it didnt happen on IG that it didnt happen in real life.”

And now, being a first time mother, the actress had some struggles when it comes to breastfeeding which she admitted in full honesty. In her latest blog published on her website, she shared that she can’t produce enough milk despite eating healthy to get the right nutrition. She figured this out after she gave birth.

However, breastfeeding for her is fulfilling and painful at the same time. It was accordingly a tough journey suffering sore nipples and the possibility of getting a mastitis. She wrote, “I’m realizing motherhood is like this constant back and forth between bliss and self-doubt. And I guess I’m just sharing my experience, because I want you to know that you aren’t alone in your journey.”

She tried a month of breastfeeding but didn’t made it all the way because she had this “bad supply” which is why she turned to “mix feeding with the help of her friends’ breastmilk”. It made her feel sad for not giving enough for her daughter during the first month. They were together all the time but she’s still hungry and she was crying because of it as per her blog.

But she tried hard and it is easier now for her to breastfeed.
