Here’s the answer of Mystica to the complaints filed by Arnell Ignacio
Former singer Mystica fired back to actor-turned-government official Arnell Ignacio over the complaints filed against her.
To recall, Arnell formally filed inciting to sedition, cyber libel, at violation sa Bayanihan To Heal As One Act charges against the former singer at the Imus City Prosecutor’s Office in Cavite.
This action of former OWWA official rooted from the viral video of Mystica wherein she cursed President Rodrigo Duterte. The former singer criticized the measures that the current administration is doing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In her viral video, she also showed support forVice President Leni Robredo as she was attacking the Chief Executive. Her social media rant received a massive amount of bashing from the online community.
Because of this, she, later on, apologized for what she has done. However, that did not stop Arnell in filing cases against her. The actor said that he just waited for the enhanced community quarantine to be lifted so that he can formally filed the cases against the former “Split Queen”.
In line with this, based on the article from Abante, Mystica fired back to Arnell Ignacio, and again, it was through social media. According to columnist Joe Barrameda, in the first statement of the former singer, she was complaining that she is having a hard time when it comes to her finances.
However, in a later statement, Mystica showed off that she will just choose among ten prominent lawyers that will defend her. According to Barrameda, the former singer said that she has a lot of money to pay for the lawyer.
