Philippine Senator Bato Dela Rosa has this controversial statement amid pandemic.
BATO DELA ROSA – Retired police general turned senator Bato Dela Rosa lambasted after saying “Ang sarap ng buhay” amid this public health crisis.
In a previous article, Senator Bato Dela Rosa admitted “kinandado” by his daughter to stop him him from working amid the crisis. The people were looking for him and wanted to know what he has done amid the country in fight against the deadlyĀ COVID-19 pandemic but he was nowhere to be found at that time.
Accordingly, they forced him to self-quarantine after he got himself exposed to senators who tested positive of the virus. And just recently, he’s facing criticisms again after his elated reaction when the senate web session ended.
“Sarap ng buhay! Sarap ng buhay! Ganito na lang tayo palagi ah!” says the senator to his fellow lawmakers who just laughed at his statement. The clip of this incident made rounds online and many netizens were not pleased to hear this from a senator and in time where the country is facing a public health crisis.
According to ABS-CBN report, he only exclaimed the controversial statement because it has become efficient for them to do session just as long as they have a good internet connection. Through web session, they have accordingly finished early and the discussion was at a quicker pace.
