PAGASA – Cloudy Skies, Isolated Rains Over Capital, Areas Of PH This May 21, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this May 21, 2020.

The latest weather update from the state bureau says that the easterlies or warm winds from the east will affect Visayas and Mindanao, while a frontal system will affect extreme North Luzon on this day.

According to GMA News, the frontal system will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

The bureau warned the public that flash floods or landslides might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

On the other hand, the easterlies, as well as localized thundestorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods or landslides might occur in these affected areas, especially during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, northern Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the south to southwest direction.

The rest of Luzon will also have light to moderate winds but are moving in the southeast to south direction

Visayas will have light to moderate winds that aremoving in the east to southeast direction.

Lastly, Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving eastward. The entire archipelago will face slight to moderate coastal waters.
