Netizens Praise Chief Flight Attendant Who Works As Grab Food Driver Now Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

CHIEF FLIGHT ATTENDANT – Mr. Kosit Rattanasophon is now working as a Grab Food driver in Thailand amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Nowadays, the coronavirus or COVID-19 has spread across the globe. It was first recorded in China last December 2019 which urged the authorities to lock down Wuhan City, its epicenter, for more than two (2) months.

The said coronavirus infected over 82,000 people in China. At least 4,000 lost their lives due to the said disease.

Coronavirus is a pandemic now – its effects are far beyond what was expected of it. It has now infected over five (5) million people across the globe.

Thailand is one of the countries with confirmed case of COVID-19. Based on the global tally of Worldometer, it has recorded 3,034 cases of coronavirus. The death toll is at 56 while there were 2,888 recorded recoveries.

In countries with confirmed cases of the disease, the way of living of the people are greatly affected now. Community quarantines are implemented and several businesses stopped their operation.

In Thailand, one of those that temporarily stopped their operation is the Thai Airways. Amid the COVID-19 crisis, a chief flight attendant of the said flag carrier airline works as a Grab Food driver to earn and feed his family.

Based on a post of netizen Erika Tan on Facebook, the said chief flight attendant is Mr. Kosit Rattanasophon. Working as a Grab Food driver now amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the 37-year-old airline employee earns 1000 baht or Php 1,700.00 if in the Philippines daily.

Rattanasophon roams around Bangkok delivering food using his Ducati motorbike. His daily earning is what he uses in supporting his father and sister. They also sell rice boxes.

According to the flight attendant, he knows that the situation will be different for at least a year. Based on the post, he stressed that he must continue what he is doing now for the meantime.
