Here’s the reaction of Matteo Guidicelli about the ABS-CBN franchise issue.
Kapamilya actor Matteo Guidicelli shared his reaction regarding the ABS-CBN shutdown following NTC’s order.
The National Telecommunications Commission order the giant TV network to stop broadcast on May 5 and this was opposed by the Kapamilya celebrities. Several of them went controversial because of their statements.
Just recently, Matteo, who is known as a supporter of the current administration gave his reaction regarding to what happened to his home network.
During a recent interview with Kapamilya entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, he was asked if he and his wife Sarah Geronimo were surprised when ABS-CBN signed off. Matteo said, “Of course, it’s heartbreaking.”
However, the actor said that they are praying that ABS-CBN can stand back up. “All we need is humility, unity, and peace, you know, and I believe that Filipino people want ABS-CBN and love ABS-CBN like a family,” Matteo said.
With this, he believes that the network will come back one day. “And I hope and I pray that all these issues will be resolved one day,” the actor added.
He also said he and Sarah are “thinking positive that everything will be okay.” When MJ Felipe highlighted the trait of Matteo Guidicelli of staying positive, the latter said that there is no good if the fire is added to the fire. “This is for the Filipino people and ABS-CBN is for Filipino people,” he said during the interview.
Meanwhile, the actor also talked about his upcoming documentary titled Ranger G that featured his army training. He said that he is thankful that Viva Artists Agency, the company handling his career, granted him the permission to join the army amid his various showbiz engagements.
