AGUSAN SALESMAN – A salesman identified as Reynaldo Orcullo has been arrested for his social media post against President Duterte and Bong go.
On Wednesday (May 13, 2020), Reynaldo Orcullo has been arrested by the regional police office in Nasipit town for his disrespectful post on Facebook against Senator Bong Go and President Rodrigo Duterte.
The suspect wrote on his post that the president’s former top aide allegedly tries to appear as a hero. The guy also cursed and even insulted President Duterte on his post, which can be considered as libelous.
“ALAM NA PATTERN, MOSALIDA SI GO KONUHAY SIYA MOHANGYO SA BUANG NGA PANGULO, DIGONG GAGO. BUANG SI DIGONG” (We know the pattern. Go will try to make a scripted request to crazy Digong. Digong is stupid. Digong is crazy), the salesman said.
The police authorities immediately brought the 41-year-old man at the police station and released his mugshots. The suspect violated the epublic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, according to Caraga regional police chief Brig. Gen. Joselito Esquivel Jr.
“I remind our social media users to think thrice before posting on any social media platform. Be responsible netizens. We do enjoy the blessings of democracy but never go beyond from what you think is right without minding you violate the provisions of the law,” Esquivel said.
