Here are some regulations if you are in an area designated under modified GCQ:
- Who can go out?
Everything goes back to normal provided that people will abide following public health safety protocols such as mask wearing, social distancing, and among others. - Business and industries operation
Private and public sectors can fully operate again but basic safety measures must be enforced. - Transportation
Public transportation will continue but health protocols must be complied. - School
Normal setting in schools will return as long as the institution will enforce the indicated safety measure for students. - Zoning scheme
Areas with coronavirus cases will still be under the original ECQ while those with 20 or highers cases will be called as “critical zones” to be put under ECQ or hard lockdowns.
Areas with less cases will be the “containment zones” under modified ECQ.
Areas adjacent to any areas with positive cases will be the “buffer zones” and GCQ will be enforced.
Areas outside the “buffer zones” will be under modified GCQ based on Rappler.
This has been made after the lockdown in Luzon and in some high risk areas will be lifted after May 15. The government has done these community quarantine classifications in gradual or phased manner to prevent spread and resurgence of coronavirus disease 2019.
