Trump Confident Coronavirus Possibly Originated In China Lab
CORONAVIRUS ORIGINS – US President Donald Trump said he was confident that COVID-19 originated in a virology lab from China.
However, the President declined to describe the nature of the evidence. Thus, tension with Beijing begins to mount once again over the origins of the deadly pandemic-level virus.
According to an article from GULF News, trump was asked if he had evidence that the virus came from a lab in China. He answered with “Yes, yes I have”. But Trump emphasized that he wasn’t allowed to disclose information.

Meanwhile, the China-state supported Wuhan Institute of Virology dispelled the allegations. Previously, it was believed that COVID-19 originated in a wildlife wet market in Wuhan.
As per the article, Trump also stated it was possible that China could not stop the spread of the virus. Moreover, he emphasized that there was a possibility that China let it spread on purpose.
Furthermore, trump said his team was trying to determine if the virus originated from the Wuhan lab. Their initiative began after media reports stated the virus may have been artificially created in the Wuhan virology lab.
Additionally, it also looked at the possibility that the institute may have just escaped from the facility. However, China had been firing back at the US and said that the US military brought the coronavirus to China.
Although Trump declined to say whether or not Chinese President Xi Jinping had any involvement. Meanwhile, Trump previously said he was looking at different options for consequences towards Beijing.
