Marcelito Pomoy Gives Poor Old Woman W/ New Home Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
MARCELITO POMOY – Singer Marcelito Pomoy surprised a poor old woman with a new home amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pinoy singer Marcelito Pomoy is considered as one of the most unique singers in the world. He came to prominence after winning Kapamilya talent show ‘Pilipinas Got Talent.’
His “golden female voice” brought him to the international stage. he guested on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and joined America’s Got Talent: The Champions last year.
All of Marcelito Ponmoy’s performace on the prestigious talent received standing ovation from the judges and the crowed. He eventually made it to the finals.
The 35-year-old singer finished his AGT: The Champions journey as 3rd runner up. He sang both parts of ‘Beauty And The Beast.’
During the coronavirus lockdown, Marcelito Pomoy shared his blessings with an old woman who went viral on Facebook. He said decided to build a new home for Nanay Aurora because she’s living in a house that is smaller than a restroom. He shared the video on his Youtube channel on May 4.
The Kapamilya singer hired workers to build the old woman a new home. Pomoy even furnished it with basic kitchen appliances, a table, chairs, and bed.
Marcelito Pomoy also interviewed the netizen named Aiza Hernandez, who shared the photo of the old woman on Facebook. She said she uploaded her photo hoping good-hearted netizens would offer some help.
“Naisipan ko po na ipost si nanay para po may nakita nga po ako sa Facebook na tumutulog sabi ko baka nga din matulungan si Nanay,” she said.
