ABS-CBN has this tweet, Angel Locsin replies

Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin replies to the post on the official Twitter account of ABS-CBN News, “Fix your headline”.

During the #LabanKapamilya Facebook Live discussion on May 12, Angel was one of the Kapamilya stars who defended their home network against the cease and desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission.

She stressed out that shutting down the TV network would not just affect the lives of its employees but it will also hinder the updates and information about the COVID-19 to reach the public.

“Ang pagpapasara po ng network sa gitna ng pandemiya ay hindi po solusyon at hindi po makakatulong sa maraming Pilipino,” the actress stated. On ther other hand, based on the screenshot captured by Twitter user @iamneithannn, the post of ABS-CBN News regarding this sounded far from what Angel stated.

The headline of the post was, “Angel Locsin: Taking ABS-CBN off air puts public safety at risk during pandemic.” Meanwhile, the article on the site of ABS-CBN has this title: “Angel Locsin: ‘Taking ABS-CBN off air amid pandemic doesn’t help majority of Filipinos'”

Because of that tweet, Angel replied, “Fix your headline”. Then, she also replied to a comment of a netizen. “Madalas na mabiktima ang mga artista rin sa mga maling headline sa halos lahat ng sumusulat.. especially tabloid 🙂 lahat,” the actress said.
