Poor Man Jump off Pasay River Due to Depression Amid COVID-19 Crisis
PASAY, MANILA – a poor man tried to end his life by jumping off to the river in Pasay City after suffering depression due to the health crisis we’re facing right now.
in a Facebook post of a concerned netizen named Ynna Cristine, a man seems in mid ’40s was seen in the river of Barangay 191, Electrical Road, Pasay City. According to the post, the man jumps off the bridge in an attempt to end his struggle in life.
He was allegedly suffering from depression because he was far away from his family, no sleep, no food, and doesn’t receive any aid from the local officials in their area. He jumps 6 a.m. in the morning and authorities came to the rescue at 10 a.m., four hours ago passed after he jumps.
Brave policemen came to rescue him as they go down to the river to get him off the river. Fortunately, the poor man voluntarily comes along with the police.

Meanwhile, the post has gone viral on social media as many netizens also express they have also experienced depression because of the health crisis the country facing right. While others praise the policemen who rescue and help the poor man.
