HONESTY JEEPNEY – A PUJ driver installed several fare collection boxes inside his jeepney for payment as they observe social distancing measures.
Nowadays, the health workers and frontliners have been very busy implementing precautionary measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease. The extended enhance community quarantine in Luzon and quarantine orders in other parts of the country also includes physical distancing.
Unfortunately, there are some residents who continue to defy the preventive measures despite the danger of the health crisis.
A Twitter user named Jonathan Andal has shared the photos of fare collection boxes installed inside a public jeepney for social distancing. The photos garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photos, it can be seen that the red fare collection boxes were placed one seat apart. The concept aims to impose the no contact payment to avoid the possible exposure to the coronavirus disease.
