PAGASA – LPA Might Enter PAR By Thursday Night Or Tomorrow

PAGASA – State weather bureau PAGASA said that the are currently monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) that might enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The bureau said that the weather disturbance was last spotted at around 1,275 kilometers south east of Davao City in its early morning forecast.

According to a report from Inquirer, the bureau’s weather specialist Ariel Rojas added that the LPA is less likely to develop into a storm and will move north west heading to Mindanao. He added that this might still change.

“Mababa ang tsansa sa kasalukuyan na ang LPA na ito ay maging isang bagyo. Ito po ay kikilos pa-hilaganag kanluran at posibleng lumapit sa kalupaan ng Mindanao”

As per the report, the bureau did not raise any gale warning.

“Banayad hanggang sa katatamtaman ang magiging condition ng ating karagatan (The coastal water condition will be light to moderate),”

  • Metro Manila: 26 degrees Celsius
  • Baguio City: 17 degrees Celsius
  • Laoag City: 25 degrees Celsius
  • Tuguegarao: 26 degrees Celsius
  • Legazpi City: 27 degrees Celsius
  • Tagaytay City: 24 degrees Celsius
  • Puerto Princesa City: 27 degrees Celsius
  • Iloilo: 27 degrees Celsius
  • Cebu: 27 degrees Celsius
  • Tacloban City: 28 degrees Celsius
  • Cagayan De Oro City: 26 degrees Celsius
  • Zamboanga City: 26 degrees Celsius
  • Davao City: 27 degrees Celsius
