Ex-ABS-CBN Cameraman Reacts to Celebrities Defending Kapamilya Network
Ex-ABS-CBN cameraman expressed his reaction to the celebrities defending the Kapamilya network saying: “Nakikinabang kasi kayo”.
Over the past few days, ABS-CBN has been one of the most discussed and controversial topics on social media after the network goes off-air in compliance with the order of the National Telecommunications Commission.
A lot of Filipino people expressed their disappointment and sadness after the Kapamilya network signed off. Some netizens cried and even destroyed their television set after the ABS-CBN shutdown.
Some Kapamilya celebrities have also expressed their disappointment due to the forced closure of the network. Some of them even reiterated that thousands of employees lose their job due to the incident.
Recently, the Facebook page “Banat By” has shared the video footage of a former ABS-CBN camera expressing his reaction to the closure of the giant media company. The video garnered various reactions from the online company.
The ex-cameraman identified as Journalie Payonan revealed the past issues faced by the Kapamilya network. Payonan said that the employees of the network do not have any benefits. The cameraman also reacts to popular celebrities defending the company.
“Isang nakakatawa at nakakaawa ay itong mga artista nila na nagngangangawa kahit hindi nila alam ang mga pinagsasabi nila. Porke nakikinabang sila sa kanilang kumpanya ay papanigan na nila. Ang dapat diyan ay timbangin mo muna kung dapat kang magsalita,” Payonan said.
