A lot of Filipino people were saddened after ABS-CBN goes off air on Tuesday evening (May 5, 2020). The network and the Kapamilya shows had been already a part of many lives for several decades.
The giant network signed off in compliance with the order of the National Telecommunications Commission. The Kapamilya network goes off air after its franchise expired last Monday (May 4, 2020) due to conflict in the renewal of their operating license.
Recently, the Facebook page Kapamilya Online World has shared the photo of a sad grandma crying after the largest media company sign-off. The photo garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photo, it can be seen that the elderly woman is painfully weeping after the Kapamilya network signed off and sees nothing on the television screen. The old woman breaks the hearts of the netizens. The uploader said that the photo has been sent by her friend.
