Learn More About the Story of Peter Musngi, the Voice Behind ABS-CBN
PETER MUSNGI – Here is the story of Peter Musñgi, the man behind the golden voice of Kapamilya network ABS-CBN.
On Tuesday (May 5, 2020), the Kapamilya network signed off and go off air in compliance with the order of the National Telecommunications Commission. The network stopped its broadcast after its franchise expired.
Millions of Filipino people expressed their sadness after the giant media company goes off air. Thousands of employees including celebrities, announcers, radio disk jockey, and other staff lose their jobs due to the closure of the giant media network.
Meanwhile, many Filipinos watching ABS-CBN shows mush already heard the voice behind the Kapamilya network. Most of us don’t have an idea regarding the identity of the man behind the network’s voice.
Meet Peter Musñgi, the official voice of ABS-CBN for more than three decades. He graduated from the University of the East with a degree in business administration and also passed the CPA Board Exam.
The 74-year-old announcer worked in several radio stations before joining ABS-CBN as a voice-over talent. He became the station manager of DZMM and DWRR from 1988 to 1994. He also received recognition during the 2011 CEO Excel Awards.
