Loyal Kapamilya Viewer Destroys TV After ABS-CBN Network Shuts Down
ABS-CBN – The video footage of a loyal Kapamilya viewer smashing his own television after ABS-CBN network signs off goes viral.
On Wednesday (May 6, 2020), ABS-CBN has been one of the most discussed topics on social media after the network goes off air on Tuesday evening in compliance with the order of the National Telecommunications Commission.
Millions of Filipino people were saddened by signing off of the Kapamilya network and thousands of employees lose their jobs due to the shutdown of the giant media company.
Recently, a Facebook user named Zara Luneta has shared the video footage of a loyal Kapamilya fan who smashed their television after the giant media network shut down. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the man seems to be frustrated and disappointed in ABS-CBN’s shutdown. The man carrying their obsolete television set and suddenly slammed it on the ground.
However, the video is probably scripted and the obsolete television set is already broken. It can also hear that some people in the background were laughing.
