The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ for short will affect the entire Visayas and parts of Mindanao.

According to GMA News, the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during moderate to, rarely, heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the warm winds from the east or easterlies will bring cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Bicol Region.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Lastly, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

As per the report, the entire archipelago will face slight to moderate coastal waters.

On the other hand, the low pressure area (LPA) that was attached to the ITCZ dissipated on Monday at around 2 AM.

The sun has risen on 5:32 AM and will set at around 6:14 PM.
