Engaged Couple Postpone Wedding, Donates Budget To COVID-19 Relief Efforts
ENGAGED COUPLE – An engaged couple from Baguio City decided to postpone their wedding and donate the budget to COVID-19 relief efforts.
Filipino billionaires and celebrities are stepping up to help amid the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis in the country. The wealthiest people in the country focus on helping the frontliners while others provide the needs of the families affected by the pandemic.
Among the celebrities who offered a helping hand are Angel Locsin, Bela Padilla, Dingdong Dantes, and Matteo Guidicelli. Their charity works have raised millions.
A rich guy named Francis Leo Marcos challenged the rich politicians and billionaires in the country to help the poor families amid the crisis. Marcos became an internet sensation after he urged his fellow billionaires to donate some amount to the less fortunate Pinoys.
Recently, engaged couple John Cleveland at Nanette Velasco made rounds on social media after they decided to postpone their upcoming wedding in June. They said they have decided to donate the budget for their wedding to help the healthcare workers and frontliners in Baguio City.
The soon-to-be-married couple also distributed some veggies to several barangays in the city.
