Actor-turned-politician Francisco “Isko” Moreno currently serves as the mayor of the city of Manila. He is considered as one of the most admired politicians today.
Manila is one of the cities that has a large number of COVID-19 cases. Isko is doing his best to support the needs of their frontliners and residents.
In a previous article, Isko Moreno said he’s eyeing a ‘hard lockdown’ in Tondo, San Andres, Sta. Cruz, and Malate. Until now, he and other officials in Metro Manila are evaluating if they can put these areas into a lockdown.
“It’s in my table already last night ‘yung plan… we’re gonna do more communication kasi when we do a hard lockdown, we give them ample time to prepare. We do not want to do it ura-urada ba,” he said.
Recently, a video of Isko Moreno showing the immense budget of Metro Manila for COVID-19 response surfaced on the internet. It was shared on the Facebook Page of Paolo Duterte Supporters.
The 45-year-old mayor showed the money that will be given to all their barangays. The video has garnered 1.4 thousand reactions, 117 comments, and 255 shares as of this writing.
