Easterlies To Bring Cloudy Skies & Rains Over Parts of Country, PAGASA Says

LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring cloudy weather conditions and isolated rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (April 25, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeasterly surface windflow and easterlies would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA said that the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Kalinga, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, Quirino and the rest of Cagayan.

The localized thunderstorms are also expected to bring the same weather condition over Metro Manila, Visayas, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and the remaining parts of the country.

The northeasterly surface windflow will bring cloudy weather conditions with isolated light rains over the islands of Batanes and Babuyan.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over northern Luzon would moderate to rough. Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are also expected over the rest of the country, according to the weather bureau.
