Construction Worker Climbs Post After His Co-Workers Makes Fun of Him
A construction worker climbed an electrical post after his fellow employees allegedly tease him of having a coronavirus disease.
A Facebook user named Jun Inabangan has shared the photos of a poor construction worker who climbed up an electrical post planning to harm himself. The post raises public awareness and garnered various reactions from the online community.
Inabangan said that the man swims Ilog Pasig from Makati City up to Mandaluyong City. The worker climbed the post during a relief operation. Jun clarified that the guy has no mental disorder but he just experienced discrimination.
The concerned netizen explained that the unidentified worker experienced discrimination from his fellow employees who allegedly makes fun of him.
Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos and former Mayor Atty. Benjamin Jr Abalos immediately arrived at the scene to make a negotiation with the victim. BFP, PNP, MERALCO, medical team and some rescue team also respond to the incident.
After four (4) hours of negotiation, the authorities were able to save the construction employee with the help of rescue teams and other organizations.

Kaagad pumunta sina Mayora Menchie Abalos at dating Mayor Atty.
