Latest Weather Update in Philippines Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring cloudy conditions and isolated rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (April 18, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather condition in the country. The easterlies would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the easterlies bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Abra, Benguet, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Kalinga, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasina, and Aurora.

The localized thunderstorms would bring the same weather condition over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country. Partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers are also expected over the entire Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible isolated flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Northern Luzon, Aurora Province, Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
