PAGASA – Easterlies To Affect The Country This April 17, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this April 17, 2020.

The latest weather forecast from the state weather bureau states that the easterlies or warm winds from the east will affect the eastern section of the country on this day.

According to GMA News, Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

The bureau warned the public, especially those who are at high risk areas, of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, northern Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
